The Parlor Room Collective Open Mic Series gives local artists, songwriters, poets, students, and community members a welcoming place to share their work in front of a supportive audience.

Open mics are a part of our mission to make live music participatory, accessible, and rooted in community. Whether you are trying out a new song, returning to performing, or showing up to listen, you are welcome here.

We host two regular monthly open mics at The Parlor Room on Tuesday nights:

• Song and Story Open Mic: a space for songs, stories, poems, and works in progress.

• Queer Open Mic: a community-centered open mic for queer artists, performers, writers, and audience members.

What to expect

Hosted by local songwriters who create a supportive & professional environment for artists to share, develop their craft, meet fellow musicians and have fun!

• A friendly, low-pressure room

• A supportive audience

• Sign-ups and timing managed by the host

• Respectful listening for every performer

• All-ages participation unless otherwise noted
