What to know before you arrive

TICKETING

  • Tickets can be purchased online at ironhorse.org (this website :), or in person during our daytime box office hours or at any show. The box office is located at‍ ‍18 Center St., Northampton, MA and the hours are 2:30-4pm on Show Days at The Iron Horse. Tickets can also be purchased in person or by phone (call 413-200-0425) or at any show.

  • No, tickets are digital, to use them at entry you can pull them up on your phone or print them out prior and bring them with you to the venue.

MEMBERSHIP

  • TMemberships last a full calendar year from the date of purchase and do not automatically renew. You will receive an email with instructions on how to renew your membership before your membership expires. 

  • Membership pre-sales and membership pricing is limited to 4 tickets per show for each membership account. Once tickets are on sale to the public, you will be able to purchase additional tickets at the regular price.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY

  • As you step inside at 18 Center St., you'll find yourself in our brand new bar area, designed to provide a comfortable hangout space for our guests. Complete with a full bar and handicap-accessible bathrooms, including a single-use option, we've ensured convenience and accessibility for all.

    Upon entry into the lounge, you will be given a numbered card indicating your place in line.

    Our bar area/kitchen opens at 5pm on most show days, allowing patrons to unwind and relax with a drink and/or food while performers finalize their soundchecks in the main performance room. (Bear in mind: capacity of the bar area is limited due to the city-wide fire code.)

    When soundcheck is complete (with an aim for 6pm), the doors to the main performance area swing open and we'll begin calling parties in groups of 10, based on your numbered card. This organized approach ensures a smooth and fair entry process for everyone.

    Inside the performance space, seating arrangements include a mix of general admission (GA) and reserved seats. Half of the seats are designated as GA, offering prime spots on both the floor and balcony, while the other half are reserved for those who prefer a guaranteed seat.

    Please note that our bar area has a capacity of approximately 40 people, so there may be times when a line forms outside if the bar is at full capacity. Rest assured, our staff will do their best to accommodate everyone efficiently.

  • At this time, the IH balcony is not wheelchair accessible. There are wheelchair accessible seats on the first floor.

  • Bathrooms for public use are located on the first floor. We have a single use gender neutral and wheelchair accessible bathroom stall, as well as bathrooms with stalls and urinals.

FUNDRAISING

  • No, a donation to the Capital Campaign does not constitute a membership.
