The Iron Horse Music Hall, with its rich history and intimate atmosphere, was once the heartbeat of the Northampton music and arts scene.
At The Parlor Room Collective, our mission is to enhance the health and vitality of our community through the power of music. For over ten years at the Parlor Room, we've witnessed the magic of our local music scene and its ability to fuel the engine of our economy, enhance the overall well-being of our community, and contribute to our cultural vitality. Now, we stand at a pivotal moment in our journey as a non-profit arts organization. We have a unique opportunity to revive a local treasure that has resonated with music lovers for generations: The Iron Horse Music Hall.
And we need you to do it! We’re launching a Capital Campaign to raise the funds needed to bring this beloved local institution back to full life.
The Iron Horse has been a symbolic and literal heart of music in western Massachusetts since its founding in 1979. The Parlor Room Collective is proud to carry on the tradition of prodigious live music in this legendary venue through a mission based approach. The Iron Horse will be an inclusive space that celebrates art, artists, and community.
Our capital campaign hopes to mirror this ethos, acknowledging that this effort is only possible with the full support of everyone in our community, and that all donations – whether $1 or $500,000 – are valued.
